The Shell Stones project piles, that is.

Commissioned by Subsea 7 at the end of June 2015 to fabricate 2 suction piles, the InterMoor fabrication facility in Morgan City, Louisiana finished the job in record time, by October of the same year. The suction piles measured 32 feet 10 in length and 11 feet diameter; they each weighed close to 30 Tons.

They were used as umbilical tether anchors for the Shell Stones project. Stones is an ultra-deep-water oil and gas development in the Gulf of Mexico. It now hosts the deepest production facility in the world at approximately 9,500 ft. of water.
