Due to continued expansion, InterMoor are currently recruiting for an Part Time Invoice Coordinator to work in our office in Aberdeen.

The role reports into our Project Accountant and will be responsible for ensuring that all InterMoor invoicing is processed and completed with accuracy and in a timely manner.

DUTIES
•Review applied to jobs prior to month-end billing against contracts/price list and quotes.
•Ensure all Purchase Orders have been received for works prior to billing and that purchase order values are not exceeded.
•Run monthly invoice reports and issue to clients.
•Manage customer queries with regards to invoices and raise appropriate credits whenever necessary.
•Compile all involved in jobs, and issue subsequent billing to customers.
•Liaise with suppliers to receive required costs in timely manner.
•Report cost analysis of jobs to the Accounts Department when required.
•Assist Accounts Department with ad hoc duties as required.
•Complete monthly sales forecast on all projects when required.
•Checking profit margins on completed projects in order to close out job when required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•Good planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
•Good level of communication skills in both written and verbal.
•Good standard of general education.
•Relevant accounting/invoicing experience in similar/other industry.
•Experience with Navision would be preferred.
•Effective/competent MS Office Suite User.

POSITION TYPE

Due to continued expansion, InterMoor Ltd are currently recruiting 2 Senior Survey Engineers to work within our Survey and Positioning department’s offshore Field Crew. With a proven track record of more than 20 years’ experience the Survey and Positioning department carries out rig moves and special projects in the North Sea and internationally.

The successful candidate will be required to execute and lead assigned survey and positioning jobs offshore efficiently, effectively, safely and in accordance with department procedures. There will also be a requirement to prepare final as-built/positioning reporting and various internal project reporting and administration.

Due to the nature of the position the candidate will be required to also work in our onshore operations base in the North of Aberdeen.

Dimensions of the Job

List of Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate with the Project Manager to fully understand assigned projects in terms of specifications, timing, risks and constraints
    • Execute the assigned tasks efficiently and safely and in accordance with department procedures
    • Lead the (junior) surveyor(s)/survey engineer(s) to foster a positive and efficient working environment
    • Prepare final as-built or positioning reports as required
    • Assist with project close out and with recovery and recording of lessons learnt
    • Report details of the job to the Project Manager
    • Keep abreast of relevant technical developments, working practices and department procedures
    • Actively contribute to Health Safety and Environment systems and strive for a zero-incident rate
    • Be observant offshore and report back trends, developments or practices that can be of interest to the department or company for operational or commercial reasons

Core Competencies

  • Qualification in electronics/computing or HM Forces equivalent
    • Hons Degree (2.1) in Electrical Engineering is preferable but not essential
    • Offshore Survival Training & Necessary Medicals
    • Offshore survey experience as per IMCA guidelines and competency scheme
    • Attainment of relevant competencies as per the company IMCA recognised competence assurance and assessment scheme
    • Good planning and organisational skills
    • Supervisory experience
    • Effective/competent MS Office Suite User
    • High level of communication skills in both written and verbal

Due to rapid and increased growth InterMoor Ltd are recruiting for a Trainee Chain Inspector to work as part of our small but extremely busy ChainCo department based at Montrose Harbour. The successful candidate will be required to carry out chain inspection services for clients and customers as per approved ChainCo inspection procedures.

Dimensions of the Job

List of Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct Chain Inspection.
    • Conduct NDT inspection
    • Conduct UHP operations
    • Conduct chain repairs and maintenance
    • Handling and planning of chain operations
    • Provide written reports after operation has been carried out
    • Operating of plant machinery e.g. excavator and shovel truck

Core Competencies

  • Full UK driving licence
    • Experience of working in a yard/labouring position
    • NDT Inspection Certificate is preferable but not essential
    • Offshore Survival and Medical
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Ability to travel and work away from home at short notice
    • Understanding of class society procedures would be advantageous
